Frequently asked questions

Your questions answered.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored exclusively in European data centers operated by Hetzner, with locations in Falkenstein, Nuremberg, and Helsinki. Your data never leaves the EU, and we have no dependencies on US cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Is Stackpad GDPR compliant?
Yes. Stackpad is GDPR compliant by design. All infrastructure is EU-based, we support full data deletion on request, and your data is never subject to the US CLOUD Act or similar non-EU legislation.
What frameworks and languages are supported?
Stackpad supports any application that runs in a Docker container. We auto-detect Next.js and static sites for zero-config deployments. You can also deploy from any Docker image, including custom Dockerfiles.
How does billing work?
Each plan has a fixed monthly base price that includes generous resource allocations. Usage is tracked per container runtime, build time, bandwidth, and storage. You only pay for what you use beyond the included allocations.
Can I migrate from Railway, Vercel, or Render?
Yes. If your app deploys via git push or Docker, migrating to Stackpad is straightforward. Connect your GitHub repository, add your environment variables, and deploy. Most migrations take under 30 minutes.
