Built in Europe, for Europe.

Stackpad is built by slashslash B.V. — a Dutch software studio that got tired of duct-taping US cloud services together. So we built the platform we always wanted.

The origin story

We built what we couldn't find.

Stackpad started as an internal project at slashslash B.V., a Dutch software studio. We were tired of spreading our stack across multiple US-hosted services — Vercel for frontend, Supabase for the database, Railway for background services, RunPod for GPU compute. Three accounts, three dashboards, three invoices, and all our data flowing through US infrastructure.

We looked at every alternative we could find. Coolify requires you to manage your own servers. Render and Fly are US-based. Nothing gave us what we wanted: a single platform where web apps, databases, caches, and GPU compute all live together — in Europe, with zero devops.

So we built it ourselves. Stackpad is the hybrid of Vercel, Supabase, Railway, and RunPod that we always wanted. One platform, one dashboard, one invoice. Everything runs on Hetzner in the EU. No US dependencies, no CLOUD Act exposure, no compromises.

What we believe

Principles, not just features.

European sovereignty

We believe European developers and companies deserve infrastructure that respects their data and their laws. Not as an add-on, but by default.

Developer experience first

If it takes more than a git push to deploy, we've failed. We obsess over the developer experience because we are the developers using it.

Radical transparency

We show exactly what you pay for, where your data lives, and how our platform works. No surprises, no hidden fees, no US-based "EU regions".

Dogfooding

We run Stackpad on Stackpad.

In software, “eating your own dog food” means using your own product in production — not just for testing, but as your actual infrastructure. It's the ultimate quality check: if it's not good enough for us, it's not good enough for you.

Almost everything we run for Stackpad is deployed as projects within Stackpad itself. This website. The CMS behind it. Our analytics. The documentation. The API. If Stackpad goes down, we feel it first.

“We don't just build Stackpad — we depend on it every day. Every tool we used to build Stackpad is also available as a template, so we can constantly verify our own choices. If it works for us in production, it'll work for you.”

The team behind Stackpad

Running on Stackpad

Our own projects, on our own platform.

Every tool we used to build Stackpad has been made available as a one-click template. When we pick a technology, we validate it by running it on Stackpad first. If it doesn't work for us, we don't offer it to you.
